Totally agree with you Chris. I am on vacation right now and cant wait to go back to work to learn more about whats happening. Super excited about Lync and WP7 with Skype.
I wish MS could give us a road map of what they will be doing between Lync and Skype. We are in a competitive eval between cisco and lync and it might be a good selling point for Lync if we knew what MS was planning.
Microsoft is still in the final stages of having this signed off by regulators so a offical roadmap might still be a ways off. Going by what Ballmer spoke of in his webcast with Tony Bates, Lync and Xbox Kinect integration is more than likely a given. Although Microsoft cant provide an offical roadmap as yet going by the webcast there is a lot to look forward to. I know which horse I would be betting on:-)
This is going to be pretty awesome for us who sell, integrate, and support Lync :)
